- Provide advice and help to everyone
- Helpline – do we want this? 24/7? A Crisis Line or Advice Line with restricted hours? Should we bring this in-house? Wherever appropriate the first point of contact will be a veteran or someone with similar life experience.
- Triage system – general consensus to bring back in house
- Undertake treatment where we are best placed to do so
- All our people will have clear expectations of their task
- All interventions with veterans will have inclusion/exclusion criteria and clear goals
- The environment for any treatment will be conducive to recovery and safety while ensuring value for money
- Our service model will be agile and flexible reflecting our independent financing model
- We will take part in multi-disciplinary translational research
- Treatment outcomes will be measured and evaluated
