  • Provide advice and help to everyone
  • Helpline – do we want this? 24/7? A Crisis Line or Advice Line with restricted hours? Should we bring this in-house? Wherever appropriate the first point of contact will be a veteran or someone with similar life experience.
  • Triage system – general consensus to bring back in house
  • Undertake treatment where we are best placed to do so
  • All our people will have clear expectations of their task
  • All interventions with veterans will have inclusion/exclusion criteria and clear goals
  • The environment for any treatment will be conducive to recovery and safety while ensuring value for money
  • Our service model will be agile and flexible reflecting our independent financing model
  • We will take part in multi-disciplinary translational research
  • Treatment outcomes will be measured and evaluated
